Jamie Raab to Step Down at Macmillan

Jamie Raab is stepping away from Macmillan and her role as publisher-at-large after more than seven years with the company.

Raab first joined the publisher in 2017 to cofound Celadon Books, where she served as president and publisher for five years. In 2022, she stepped down as president and transitioned into her position as publisher-at-large for Macmillan, the division’s parent company.

In addition to her role as publisher-at-large, Raab also stepped in as interim publisher of the Holt imprint from August 2023 through January 2024.

“As I step away from my role as a publisher-at-large, I plan to draw on my experience and skills in areas that are deeply meaningful to me, particularly in childhood literacy and political action,” Raab said in a statement.
