Hanover Square Takes ‘Time Traveler’s Wife’ Sequel

Grace Towery at Hanover Square won, at auction, U.S. rights to Life Out of Order by Audrey Niffenegger from Joe Regal at Regal Hoffmann.

The novel, the follow-up to the global bestseller The Time Travelers Wife, charts the life of Alba DeTamble, who has inherited the time-traveling abilities of her father. Life Out of Order is set for October 2026. 

Jonathan Cape in the U.K. and Knopf Canada will publish Life Out of Order simultaneously. 

In the seven-figure deal, Towery also acquired print and e-book rights to The Time Traveler’s Wife and will release a new collector’s edition in summer 2026. E-book editions are now available.
