Ingram Adding Printing to Oregon Facility
Ingram Content Group is adding printing capability to its Roseburg, Ore.–based distribution center built around its print-on-demand programs.
According to the announcement, the investment expands the number of titles Ingram has available from Roseburg “by millions and reduces delivery times for customers west of the Rockies.” Ingram said it hopes to be able to begin printing books in Roseburg by the end of the third quarter.
“As demand for our print, wholesale, and distribution services grows, extending our unique solution to our Roseburg facility allows us to serve our publishers and channel partners with greater efficiency, immediacy, and flexibility,” said Ingram CEO Shawn Morin in a statement.
Ingram already has printing facilities in its distribution centers in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, the U.K. and Australia.
