
2026 Audie Award Winners Announced
The Audio Publishers Association (APA) has announced the winners of its 31st annual Audie Awards, which recognizes distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment.
Suzanne Collins’s Sunrise on the Reaping, narrated by Jefferson White, earned this year’s top honor as Audiobook of the Year.
The APA also introduced its inaugural Audio Publishers Association Hall of Fame inductees, including George Guidall, Hillary Huber, January LaVoy, Robin Miles, and Simon Vance.
Other winners across across the Audie Awards’ 26 categories include:
- Autobiography/Memoir: Matriarch by Tina Knowles, narrated by Tina Knowles, Beyoncé, Solange, Kelly Rowland, and Angie Beyincé (PRH Audio)
- Best Fiction Narrator: Kristin Atherton for Outlander by Diana Gabalon (Recorded Books)
- Best Non-Fiction Narrator: Blair Underwood for Truly by Lionel Richie (HarperAudio)
- Fantasy: Anima Rising by Christopher Moore, narrated by Mary Jane Wells (HarperAudio)
- Fiction: Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid, narrated by Kristen DiMercurio, Julia Whelan, and Taylor Jenkins Reid (PRH Audio)
- History/Biography: Baldwin: A Love Story by Nicholas Boggs, narrated by Ron Butler (Macmillan Audio)
- Narration by the Author: Everything Is Tuberculosis written and narrated by John Green (PRH Audio)
- Short Stories/Collections: Food for Thought written and narrated by Alton Brown (S&S Audio)
- Young Adult: Under the Same Stars by Libba Bray, narrated by Jeremy Carlisle Parker, January LaVoy, and Major Curda (Macmillan Audio)
