Debbie Aroff to Lead Marketing for James Patterson Team

Debbie Aroff has joined Hachette Book Group as VP and director of marketing and brand development for the James Patterson publishing program, effective March 2.

Most recently, Aroff was VP and director of marketing and brand strategy for the Dial Press. She has spent the entirety of her 20-plus-year career at the Random House Group division of Penguin Random House, leading marketing efforts for hundreds of campaigns across Random House and Ballantine Bantam Dell.

In her new role, Aroff will lead the strategic direction and execution of all marketing and branding initiatives across the James Patterson team at Little, Brown. She will report to Leigh Marchant, HBG’s SVP and chief marketing officer.
