Jennifer Barth Takes Over Vintage Backlist Program

Jennifer Barth, SVP, editorial director at Vintage and executive editor at Knopf, is expanding her role at Vintage to include editorial oversight of the backlist program, in addition to her leadership of the Vintage Originals list.

Barth will continue reporting to Knopf editor-in-chief Jordan Pavlin and Heather Fain, SVP, publishing director of Vintage and marketing strategy, who made the announcement.

At Vintage Originals, Barth has worked on such titles as Lisa Ridzén’s 2024 debut novel, When the Cranes Fly South, which has shipped 125,000 copies, per the publisher.

James Meader, who recently joined International Literary Properties, formerly oversaw the imprint's backlist program.
