Ernesto Burden to Helm Yankee Publishing

Yankee Publishing, best known for such legacy titles as The Old Farmer’s Almanac, has named Ernesto Burden (r.) as its first new CEO in more than 25 years. Burden will succeed Jamie Trowbridge (l.), who served as the Dublin, N.H.–based publisher’s CEO since 2000.

For the past six years, Burden has led Yankee’s New Hampshire Group division, which includes titles like New Hampshire MagazineNH Business Review, and New Hampshire Home. In his new role as CEO, he will focus on audience retention, optimizing business operations, and potential disruptions caused by AI.

The move follows Yankee’s transition from a family- to employee-owned company after nearly 85 years in business.
