Lit Fest Focused on Diversity Coming to London

A new literature festival devoted to celebrating and showcasing by black, Asian and minority ethnic writers is set to take place in London next month. Organized by the non-profit advocacy organization Media Diversified, Bare Lit will take place from February 27-28.

The festival will feature a lineup that includes new and established international writers, such as novelist Xiaolu Guo, poet Jane Yeh, London's Young Poet Laureate Selina Nwulu, journalist and fiction author, and Robin Yassin-Kassab. Events, panels, performance, and conversations will focus on addressing the question of what it means to be a writer of color in the 21st century. Learn more about the festival here.
