Harlequin Releases Interactive Story App

Harlequin has teamed with video game publisher Taito Corporation to create Harlequin Experience, an app that combines Harlequin stories with interactive gaming. The app is available on iOS devices, Android smartphones and tablets, and Kindle Fire. The app currently features frontlist and backlist titles from the Harlequin Presents, Harlequin Desire and Harlequin Medical Romance lines, and the publisher expects to add new titles each month. 

In the app, users can become the protagonist of a story by customizing the name of the central character and creating a personalized avatar. The app also features a digital community where users can chat with each other and create and participate in in-app activities.
