IPG to Distribute More Indie Publishers
Independent Publishers Group (IPG) partnered with 11 independent publishers for distribution under its various distribution arms.
On January 1, IPG began distributing titles for Pelican Book Group, including its White Rose Publishing, Harbourlight, Watershed, and Pure Amore imprints. IPG's subsidiary, Trafalgar Square Publishing, also signed up four new publishers for distribution in 2016, including Top That Publishing, a U.K.-based children’s books publisher, and Melbourne-based Melbournestyle Books. Distribution with both will begin on July 1, 2016. Trafalgar also signed distribution agreements with U.K. publishers BookLife and Jonnie Rocket that start in fall 2016.
IPG's academic distribution arm, River North Editions, begins a distribution agreement with CAST Professional Publishing as of January 1, while its illustrated books distributor, Art Stock Books, will begin distributing titles for Lund Humphries Publishers in Spring 2016. Lastly, IPG Spanish Books made distribution agreements with four new Spanish language publishers for 2016: Plaza y Valdés, Editorial Alma, Primerapersona, and Creotz.
