Literary Hub Expands Staff and Coverage

After accumulating over one million readers in nine months, Literary Hub is adding seven members to its staff and will cover a wider range of titles, both fiction and nonfiction.

David L. Ulin, formerly a book critic and book editor at the Los Angeles Times, will be writing regularly for Lit Hub with a focus on nonfiction, the West Coast, and more. Lisa Levy, a former noir and mystery editor at the Los Angeles Review of Books and a longtime freelance writer, will be writing for Lit Hub in genres of crime, mystery, and noir.

Other new hires at Lit Hub include photographer Catherine Talese, who is also a freelance photo director. She will be curating weekly features drawn from the best in contemporary photography books. Additionally, novelist Rick Moody, who wrote Garden State, will be writing a bimonthly advice column for Lit Hub, and essayist Yahdon Israel will contribute regular features as a special Lit Hub correspondent.

Lastly, rare books curator Caitlin Goodman will be revising her Grumpy Librarian column for Lit Hub, while Talking Leaves... Books manager Lucy Kegler will write a regular column on bookselling for the website.
