Yale Announces Book Publishing Scholarship Winners

The Yale Publishing Course has named Jessie Duke and Temitope Oyetomi the winners of the second annual Innovative Leader Scholarship in the Book Publishing category. The winners will be awarded with enrollment in the Leadership Strategies in Book Publishing program, which runs July 31 until August 5. Duke, the domestic winner, owns the Michigan-based Pioneers Press, which seeks to "give marginalized communities a platform for social inclusion." Oyetomi, the international winner, is managing and acquisitions editor at Baal Hamon Publishers in Akure, Nigeria, which he founded.
