B&H to Launch New Standard Bible Translation

B&H Publishing Group is releasing a new translation of the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) with a full line of products scheduled to start launching in March 2017.

The HCSB is a modern English translation of the Bible first published in 1999 by Holman Bible Publishers, the company now known as B&H. Renamed the Christian Standard Bible (CSB), the new translation “incorporates the latest scholarship and linguistic advances,” B&H Bible publisher Dr. Jeremy Howard said in a press release.

Details about the merchandising and promotional plans for the CSB will be released during the International Christian Retailing Show in Cincinnati, Ohio, from June 26-29. Bibles in the HCSB will continue to be available in its product lines through 2017.
