Revell Buys Boston Marathon Bombing Survivor's Memoir

Rebekah Gregory, who lost her left leg during the bombings at the Boston Marathon, is opening up about her experience in Taking My Life Back: My Story of Faith, Determination, and Surviving the Boston Marathon, coming from Revell on April 4, 2017. Vicki Crumpton, executive editor at Revell, acquired the book. Sharlene Martin of Martin Literary Management represented Gregory.

Taking My Life Back, which was written with Anthony Flacco, details the terrorist attack that occurred on April 15, 2013 while Gregory and her five-year-old son were watching a friend finish the Boston Marathon. Two home-made bombs detonated within feet of Gregory, injuring her legs and resulting in 18 surgeries, 65 procedures, and ultimately, the amputation of her left leg.
