Random House president and publisher Harold Evans has signed up a book by Disney Chair and CEO Michael Eisner, to be written in collaboration with Tony Schwartz and published this fall. Eisner received no advance for the book and will donate any royalties to a special fund for the education of children of Disney employees. While Eisner's book is expected to be about motivational and management strategies, the darker side of Disney will no doubt be explored more fully in plenty of upcoming titles, including a book about Eisner's struggles with brief number-two man Michael Ovitz by Blood Sport author James B. Stewart (S&S); Kim Masters's book on Hollywood power figures, including Eisner and Ovitz (Broadway Books); Robert Slater's bio, Ovitz (McGraw-Hill); and Steven Watts's bio on the man who started it all, Walt Disney (Houghton Mifflin).
