Sidney Sheldon's career credits include all forms of entertainment including film (25 screenplays), TV (250 scripts) and theater (six Broadway plays) and of course books. His 15th, The Best Laid Plans, hits the list this week in the #2 spot and was published by Morrow with a one million first printing. Sheldon was recently honored by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most translated author in the world; his publisher estimates that there are more than 275 million copies of his books in print worldwide. Morrow's marketing plan includes TV advertising on Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, Today, Oprah, Letterman and more. Sheldon will also do national and local TV in New York and Los Angeles this week.
