Marla Runyan became an Olympic athlete despite a progressive eye disease that has made her legally blind, and Putnam's Stacy Creamer, who did the bestseller by cancer-afflicted cyclist Lance Armstrong, has just signed her for a memoir to be called No Finish Line: My Life As I See It and co-written with Armstrong's collaborator, Sally Jenkins. Creamer bought North American rights from Peter Miller at PMLA and Runyan's sports agent, Ray Flynn, and plans to publish next fall. The sports-minded editor, who had watched Runyan compete in the Sydney Olympics last fall, saw her run a record 5,000 meters at a New York track meet the same day she signed her.
