Journalist Nuala O'Faolain hit the national charts with her debut book, Are You Somebody?: The Accidental Memoir of a Dublin Woman (Holt, 1998). Now she hits the national charts with her first fiction, My Dream of You. The Riverhead book was launched with a 125,000-copy first printing and O'Faolain is in the midst of a 17-city book tour. Reviews have been stellar, and she is profiled in several newspapers and magazines, including a PW Interview (March 12). The book is doing particularly well at the independents, where it got some early support as a Book Sense pick for March. In Ireland, the book went on sale in January, and it made it to the top of the charts.
