Keynote speaker is Steve Piersante, president of Berrett-Koehler. Registration deadline is September 21, and tickets for AAP members are $165 and $215 for nonmembers. On October 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McGraw-Hill Auditorium in New York City, the AAP's Freedom to Read Committee will hold a seminar, "Risky Business: Publishing Exposés in Print and Online."
