Bestselling author Gail Sheehy (Passages, etc.) is busy researching a book for Random senior editor Bob Loomis on the bereaved families following the World Trade Center disaster, and to do so is spending much of her time living and working with a number of them in suburban New Jersey. Her book, as yet untitled, will talk of how they coped with their grief and loss, of their memories and their strategies for survival. It was bought, U.S. and Canadian rights only, from Lynn Nesbit at Janklow & Nesbit, and the hope is to have it out before the end of next year.
