Journals kept by Academy Award—winning actress Angelina Jolie as she traveled the world in her efforts to aid refugees and call attention to their plight were bought for Pocket Books by associate publisher Liate Stehlik. Jolie has worked for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees in Africa, Cambodia, Pakistan and elsewhere. Her journals reflect her thoughts and experiences, and include some of her own pictures. It was a world rights deal, made with the actress's Hollywood representatives, and Pocket plans to publish next summer to coincide with Jolie's new movie Beyond Borders.
