The creator of the Mars and Venus franchise, John Gray, is taking his quintessential man and woman into the kitchen and the gym. He's publishing The Mars and Venus Diet and Exercise Solution at St. Martin's Press, where his former HarperCollins editor, Diane Reverand, brought him aboard in a deal for world English, audio and serial rights. The book will be published to accompany a $6 million "infomercial" with the same title that will launch on TV next February. Gray aims to show how men and women have different needs in these areas, and how their diet and exercise programs can be better coordinated to promote greater harmony between the sexes.
