Hard on the heels of Joan DeMayo's appointment as director of sales at Random House Children's Books (News, Nov. 11), comes the announcement that Daisy Kline has been appointed v-p of marketing, reporting to RHCB president and publisher Chip Gibson. Kline was formerly associate director of marketing at RHCB, and moved to HarperCollins Children's Books last year to become director of marketing. She replaces Andrew Smith, who will be leaving the company.

And in a restructuring of the Knopf Delacorte Dell Young Readers Group art department, Isabel Warren-Lynch has been promoted to executive director, art and design, also reporting to Gibson. She was previously executive art director for the Knopf and Crown imprints. Liney Li will be leaving the company; she was director, art and design, for Delacorte, Dell, Bantam, Doubleday and Wendy Lamb Books.
