Julia Glass's debut fiction, Three Junes, lands on PW's trade paperback list after just a week in the stores. She is in the midst of an eight-city tour; she's enjoying ample bookseller enthusiasm, and plans to make special stops for two book clubs, The Bookies in Milwaukee, Wis., and the Jane Does in Raleigh, N.C., that are responsible for putting her book on the literary map as a GMA book club selection last year. Anchor Books has 160,000 copies in print after three trips to press and is expecting Three Junes to be a summer book club favorite. While the National Book Award winner did not make our weekly top 15 hardcover chart, it did rank among the top 20 many times. Pantheon reports that the hardcover in-print figure is now 150,000 copies.
