Brad Meltzer's fifth bestselling thriller, The Zero Game, is also his fastest out of the gate. It lands in the #4 spot this week, and Warner has 300,000 copies in print after two trips to press. Meltzer kicked off his tour on January 20, laydown day, with a live appearance on CBS-TV's The Early Show. The book, about Congress and the wagering games played in the House, has sparked strong media interest. Meltzer's insider's view of Washington, D.C., and real-life gambling in Congress secured him interviews on Fox's Greta Van Susteren and Fox & Friends, Court TV's Catherine Crier Show and mentions in Liz Smith's columns and on the New York Post's Page Six. He is currently on a 30-city tour; the first stop was New York City's Union Square Barnes & Noble, where more than 350 people attended his signing.
