The sexy young heiress mainly famous for being famous has signed with Simon & Schuster for a memoir, ending weeks of gossipy speculation about where, whether or when she would land a book deal. Trish Todd at the Fireside imprint signed a world English rights contract with Dan Strone at Trident Media Group, and her book will be published as soon as next September. It's called Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose, and Todd stresses that the book, in addition to its hot name-dropping potential, will be "very funny." It's described as a guide on how to proceed as an heiress and a discussion of Hilton's modeling career, her TV show, her fashion dos and don'ts, even sparing a word or two for her dog. It will be co-written with magazine writer Merle Ginsberg and will, naturally, include lots of pictures, including some specially shot for the book.
