Anet Sirna-Burder has been named v-p, production at Harry N. Abrams. Sirna-Burder is leaving her post as director of production at Rizzoli/ Universe, where she spent the last four years. Before that she was at Book-of-the-Month Club/ Bookspan for 10 years.

Abebooks Nabs Chase

John Chase has been hired as CFO at the British Columbia— based online bookseller Abebooks.com. Chase, who has over 25 years of experience at a number of companies, including Amazon.com, was most recently CFO of the Victoria, B.C.—based energy management technology firm Power Measurement

Promos at PGW

Eric Kettunen, Heather Cameron and Kevin Votel have all been promoted at Publishers Group West. Kettunen is up from marketing director to v-p of marketing; Cameron from marketing manager to director of marketing; and Votel from v-p of the marketing group to v-p of business development.

Dunn Up at RH Children's

Kathleen Dunn has been promoted from publicity manager to assistant director of publicity at Random House Children's Books. Dunn will continue to report to Judith Haut in her new role.

Simon & Schuster's Children's Publishing has promoted the following: Sammy Yuen from senior designer to associate art director; Jennifer Strada from production editor to associate managing editor; Emily Westlake from editorial assistant to assistant editor at Simon Spotlight Entertainment. Wendy Rubin, previously at KSA-Plus Communications, is now production editor for Little Simon, Simon Spotlight and Libros Para Ninos. Kelly Stocks joins as marketing assistant.
