The AAP kicked off its monthly sales estimates for 2007 with 81 reporting publishers, adding the e-book publisher Digital Pulp Press in January. According to the AAP figures, sales fell in four segments and rose at nine. Adult hardcover had the strongest start to the year with sales at reporting publishers up 32.2%, while sales in the elhi and children's segments were off by over 18%.
