Harris to ICM
Nick Harris has been named co-head of ICM's books-to-film department. Harris, who will join the agency on November 1, will oversee the department with Josie Freedman. Harris worked at the London agency AP Watt before moving to Los Angeles, where he was a principal at Rabineau Wachter Sanford Harris (RWSH). He was most recently at Mosaic, and has negotiated film rights for such books as The Last King of Scotland and The Men Who Stare at Goats.

Dewey to Little, Brown
Nicole Dewey is joining Little, Brown as executive director of publicity on November 15. Dewey was most recently executive director at Henry Holt, where she managed a department and worked with authors like Hilary Mantel, Barbara Ehrenreich, and Atul Gawande. At LB, she will report to v-p and marketing director Heather Fain.

Schivley to Merriam-Webster
Caryl Schivley has been named v-p and chief financial officer/chief administrative officer at Merriam-Webster. She will be responsible for all financial aspects of the company and will provide leadership and coordination in the business planning and budgeting activities of the company. Schivley was previously v-p, finance, for Atlas Copco Construction Tools LLC.

Rados, Blackwelder to F+W Exec Committee
F+W Media has appointed two employees to its executive committee: Kate Rados and Kathleen Blackwelder. Rados, who has also been promoted to group marketing director, is responsible for F+W's publicity and marketing campaigns. Blackwelder is e-commerce director for F+W's e-commerce business, which has more than 20 individual e-stores serving the company's vertical markets through direct to consumer sales.
