Autumn is fast approaching and so is the next bumper crop of new audiobooks. The audio segment of the publishing industry continues to flourish in 2016, in large measure due to the increasing demand for digital downloads. The latest data from trade organizations point to robust production and sales in 2015, with digital downloads growing 34% in both dollars and units compared to the previous year, as reported in the Audio Publishers Association’s annual sales survey. Such strength gives publishers leeway to bolster their frontlists and go deeper into their backlists to mine more audio offerings.

Our list of highlights offers a glimpse of the breadth of audio titles available this fall. Happy listening!
