This week, we’re looking at the top-selling e-books as ranked by Bookstat, which computes sales of books in various formats from major online retailers, and comparing those unit sales to print unit sales from BookScan. Most of the 10 bestselling e-books sold far better in e-book than in print. The exceptions: Erik Larson’s The Splendid and the Vile, which sold 11K more units in print than in e-book, and American Dirt, whose print sales slightly edged out e-book sales. Other points of note: three of the top-selling e-books are self-published titles, and another two are from Amazon’s Lake Union imprint.
