FALL 2020 ADULT ANNOUNCEMENTS - FAQ
How long is the announcements portal open?
Until April 10.
What is the publishing season covered for these announcements?
August 1, 2020, to January 31, 2021.
A book I am publishing was originally supposed to publish in the spring, but it has been moved back to fall due to the covid-19 pandemic. Is it eligible?
No. However, we want to hear about any pub date changes, which we will share with our readers. You can submit pub date changes using this form.
What types of books are you looking for?
Adult trade titles (new titles only, no reprints) being published in all general trade formats (hardcover, trade paper, mass market, e-book).
Who should submit books?
If your titles are distributed by a larger house or distribution company, please do not assume that your distributor will submit your titles. Please check with your distributor to coordinate.
Will all books submitted be listed?
No. Submission does not guarantee inclusion.
What is "Lead Title?"
By checking the "Lead Title" field for a book you've entered, you let our editors know that this book will be especially important to you during the season we're covering.
Where did you get the data you're presenting for my titles?
Ingram. If your book metadata is not available in Ingram, you will need to enter it manually. Titles submitted without metadata may not be considered.
What if there is data that is missing or incorrect?
In the edit/review mode you can change or add any data you'd like.
What about audio books?
The Fall 2020 Audiobook Announcements feature is separate from the Adult Announcements feature. We will send out a call for information for it, along with instructions on how to submit audiobook titles for consideration.
