    An early Easter and sales of more than 225,000 copies of the newest edition in Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man series combined to increase unit sales of print books by 2.7% last week over the comparable week in 2022.

    With gains in all major categories but adult nonfiction, overall unit sales of print books rose 2.9% in the week ended Mar. 18, 2023, compared to the similar week in 2022, at outlets that report to Circana BookScan.
