Talk of the Ton
Like a young society lady in a feathered headdress and elbow-length gloves, season two of Bridgerton, adapted from Julia Quinn’s Regency romance series, debuted March 25. The season is based on book two, The Viscount Who Loved Me, whose conventional and tie-in editions curtsy onto our trade paperback list this week at #4 and #10 along with the next books in the series: An Offer from a Gentleman and Romancing Mister Bridgerton. All four volumes showed major gains this week.
Recipe Development
The #1 book in the country is Half Baked Harvest Every Day by Tieghan Gerard. Our starred review said the food blogger “ably delivers on her promise ‘to make food that is delicious, usually healthy... and always satisfying’ in this excellent collection.” Her first two books have sold a combined 668K print copies; with this third book, she has her strongest showing right out of the oven.
Family Feud
Nana Loves You More by Jimmy Fallon, illustrated by Miguel Ordóñez, is the #4 book in the country. It’s the duo’s fourth book together, after books whose titles namecheck dada, mama, and baby; in first-week sales as in life, nana rules the roost.
