Tyndale House Publishers and Miami-based Spanish-language Christian publisher Grupo Nivel Uno have inked a new global sales and distribution partnership that will add 350 titles to Tyndale’s worldwide reach.

Tyndale will pick up sales and distribution for two imprints of Grupo Nivel Uno, Casa Creación and Nivel Uno, which were previously handled by Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial. Grupo Nivel Uno will retain managing marketing, editorial, acquisition for the imprints.

“Their catalog represents a large variety of authors and products, including many original titles in Spanish for the Spanish-speaking public throughout the world,” said Peter Cerra, Tyndale’s senior director of international publishing and sales, in announcing the deal.

Sergio Daldi, president and owner of Casa Creación, praised the companies’ shared mission, saying the alliance "reinforces our purpose of impacting lives for the glory of God through Christian literature.”

The titles range from children’s books such as 365 Días de Historias Bíblicas para Niños: Una Historia por Día - Todo el Año (365 Days of Bible Stories for Children: A Story for Every Day All Year Long) to bestselling prophecy novelist Jonathan Cahn's upcoming novel, The Avatar: The Return of the Old Gods and the Future of the World, releasing in October as El Avatar: El Regreso De Los Dioses Antiguos y El Futuro Del Mundo.

Religion houses are stepping up marketing to 50 million Spanish speakers and language learners in the U.S., and millions more worldwide. Most of the moves have been through either acquisitions or distribution partnerships such the one inked by Inner Traditions, and Grupo Gaia last month.
