Flying High

Debuting at #3 in hardcover nonfiction, Believe It is a spiritual memoir by Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl 2018 MVP Nick Foles, who is donating all of his proceeds from book sales to charity. It was the #1 seller in BookScan’s Middle Atlantic region—which includes New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania—beating out the otherwise dominant The President Is Missing.

Joker’s Wild Ride

Awakened, #16 in hardcover fiction, launches a near-future SF thriller trilogy by James S. Murray, who stars with three of his high school buddies on the TruTV hidden camera reality show Impractical Jokers. Murray’s debut, written with Darren Wearmouth, kicks off with a bloodbath on the inaugural run of the Z line, a fictional subway route linking Manhattan and New Jersey. Our review described the book as “Aliens meets The Taking of Pelham123.”
